I’ve always had a love affair with stripes. They are classic, timeless and yet always manage to be modern too! One of my favorite things to wear in springtime is a pair of striped pants. I always look for pants that have a little extra detail about them, especially if it’s a nautical detail like a rope tie waist.

Most of my outfit is vintage Anthropologie, however since it’s a timeless look I will be linking to similar items that are currently available. The pants I love because they love a long slit up the side and it gives them an interesting detail especially on a windy day LOL. White goes amazing with blue so I wore a flowy top with flutter sleeves, the sleeves have tiny embroidered flowers on them which are really on trend right now.

My purse, however, is new and I am LOVING it! I have been wearing it everyday. It’s by a designer named Clare V. I have a few of her handbags, I started following her a few years ago. Her clutch purses are especially cute! I will do a separate post just on Clare V soon.

For tops, if your pants have a lot going on then I would go with a solid colored top. I love the ruffle detail on this one plus the longer sleeves because it is still a little chilly here. Cremieux Ruffled Top in Ivory, Anthropologie, $60
