Hi everyone! Here in CT we’ve just had a very hot July – it was a record breaker actually! While it’s still pretty hot here I have been looking forward to fall – not for the cooler temps (my pool will be finished soon and I would like to enjoy it more hehe!) but because I am very excited about fall fashion. LOL. There are a bunch of things I am thinking about for fall – a new coat, western boots, satin midi skirts, slip dresses, chunky knit sweaters, velvet headbands, berets, and pearls to name a few! I thought I would share some things I have my eye on for fall. Enjoy!!
That being said I also want to say you DON’T need to add a lot of new items for fall! No need to follow every new trend. Find one you are feeling and add a piece or two from that. Mix and match things you already have in your existing wardrobe to give it a new look. Something as simple as a new bold headband can really jazz an outfit up! I adore this silk effect skirt because it has a large slit and a pocket! Just so unique. Not something I would usually wear but for only $40 I will try it!
This sold out very quickly in the Nordstrom sale, but it should be restocked soon. I am finally going to try the whole animal print trend for fall! If you pair with all black the animal print becomes so much more neutral, I actually love it!
I really want a new pair of booties for fall! This one was by far your favorite choice when I did the poll on my stories (thank you to everyone that voted!). This pink will act as a neutral and pair with just about anything this fall!
Every year for my birthday I ask for one big clothing item! This year I have my eye on a leather jacket. This one to too pricey for me but you never know there might be a big sale. I just love the burgundy color and the straps on the sleeves.
I am still obsessed with green for fall! This is super cool without breaking the bank! Love it paired with sneakers now or booties in the fall
While the masses are carrying the same old predictable bags wouldn’t you like something different? This gorgeous saddle bag stands out while still managing to remain a classic. This brand is local and one to watch 🙂 I already have their belt bag!
The 70’s are back! But for me they never left. My parents were hippies and it definitely influenced me. I’d wear this on repeat the outfit possibilities are endless!
I’m all about headbands – they’re an easy way to really add interest to an outfit and also to help hide a bad hair day or baby hairs 🙂 Padded ones are my new fav!

Anthropologie just added some new dresses. This is totally me! Wear now and through fall. I also to put a sweater over a maxi dress in the fall and it looks like a skirt.
